Jewelry Care

The base metal for all our jewelry is sterling silver. 925 sterling silver is comprised of 92.5 percent silver and 7.5 percent of other metals. Some of these other metals can cause sterling silver to tarnish over time when they interact with moisture. That’s completely normal. With a little bit of care, and preventative maintenance, you can have your jewelry looking great for a while.

  • Your Jewelry should be the last thing you put on - after makeup and the first thing you remove when you get home. Perfume, lotions, makeup and harsh chemicals can  cause tarnishing.

  • Store jewelry separately, in a cool dry place, and away from moisture. We’ve provided a storage pouch for this reason.

  • Remove jewelry before entering water and avoid leaving it in the bathroom.

  • Remove jewelry before engaging in physical activity e.g., exercising

  • Regularly cleaning is key for sterling silver jewelry to maintain its luster. Use a gentle soap and warm water to remove dirt. A special jewelry cloth or microfibre cloth can be used to remove tarnish. For a deepen clean, we recommend a jewelry cleaning.

  • Avoid using paper towels or tissue, as these will scratch your jewelry.

  • To avoid scratching, use a musing paper towel or tissue, as this will scratch your piece.
